Jeremy Knox and I gave the opening keynote at this year’s DT&L conference, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We talked about why we developed the Manifesto for Teaching Online and what it set out to achieve, then drilled down into a couple of its key points relating to education at scale and datafication:
Massiveness is more than learning at scale: it also brings complexity and diversity.
Algorithms and analytics re-code education: pay attention!
The video should be appearing shortly on the conference web site, but it was also delightfully illustrated by Will Santino at Truscribe, which may well be enough….
